President Gwadar Gymkhana Ahmed Iqbal Baloch and Club Secretary Tattersalls Club Des Mulcahy signed the reciprocal agreement between the two clubs on 8th September 2021.

The Tattersalls Club is located above Tattersall’s Mall on Edward Street, an oasis in the heart of Brisbane where old world charm meets modern convenience. It is home to fine dining and elegant bars, grand ballrooms and intimate boardrooms, tastefully appointed accommodation, a fully equipped Health & Wellness Centre with a 25-metre indoor pool and a Members-only Business Centre.

Founded in 1865, the Club has a history of serving its members for over 150 years. The Club building was designed and built in 1926 by Hall and Prentice, the architects responsible for Brisbane City Hall, based on the designs of London’s original horse auction rooms.

As reciprocal clubs, members of both the esteemed private members clubs will be able to enjoy the club facilities in Gwadar and Sydney. President Gwadar Gymkhana remarked that this is the beginning of a new era not only for Gwadar Gymkhana but for Gwadar as well. With attention and consideration from institutions with such rich history, Gwadar has proven to be the jewel of Pakistan indeed.
